The Spartans dodged the rain and put together their most complete game of the season. Jon F. led the team in pitching (4 innings, 1 run allowed) and hitting (3-3, with 2 triples and 3 rbis). Jake B. went 2-3, scored twice and drove in 3 runs. Craig M., Matt B., and Brian J. each had an rbi in the game. Jesse A. continued to be a factor on the base pads, stealing twice and scoring 2 runs. "The team played confident and put pressure on the Viroqua pitchers. They worked the count to their favor and then took advantage.
