One run allowed Logan to hold on to a 1 to 0 win Tuesday at Logan. Josh K. struck out 11 batters and had a hit for the Spartans. Craig M. also had a hit that put runners in scoring position, but unfortunately the Spartans didn't plate any runners. "We had chances to score, but didn't come up with the big hit. Our defense could have been better, but it was our offense that cost us the game. Josh pitched extremely well and kept us in the game. We need some guys to step up and come through when the situations arise." - Coach Dodge

I see you are "bringing the lumber". Getting shut out 2 of the last 3 games is not "bringing" it. When was the last time you took batting practice? Might be able to drive some of those runs in if you work on it once in a while.
